   LICENSING. Both families are SIL Open Font License 1.1, which permits
   self-hosting without restriction. See fonts/OFL.txt for the full text and
   the upstream sources.

   WHAT'S HERE. Google serves these as subsets keyed by unicode-range, and that
   mechanism is worth keeping rather than flattening into one big file: a
   browser downloads a subset only if the page actually uses a character in it.
   An English page pulls the three `latin` files (~72KB) and never touches
   latin-ext. A page showing a prospect called Łukasz pulls one more.

   Plex Sans and Space Grotesk are VARIABLE fonts — one file each spans the
   whole weight range, which is why there is no per-weight file for them and
   why `font-weight` below is a range, not a value. Plex Mono is not, so it has
   a static file per weight. Requesting a weight inside a declared range is
   what makes 500 and 600 render as real intermediate weights rather than as
   the browser smearing 400.

   Latin unicode-range covers U+0000-00FF (most Western European accents);
   latin-ext adds Central/Eastern European and Turkish. Copied verbatim from
   what Google serves, so the split behaves identically.
